WHERE REVERENCE MEETS CURIOSITY

Hello and Welcome!

I’m Kayla Lemieux—an integrated bodywork practitioner based in Gloucester, MA, offering intentional bodywork sessions.

Intentional Bodywork is an invitation to expand our full-body awareness and deepen our relationship with ourselves. The way we tend to our flesh and allow—or resist—our unfolding shapes what becomes possible. Through intentional touch, openness, and curiosity, we create space to notice what is present and explore our experience with greater depth and awareness.

CREATING THE CONDITIONS FOR CHANGE

What if we could create meaningful change—not by grasping for answers, but by developing the capacity to listen, observe, and respond to what is present?

Tending to the body is one of the greatest acts of self-devotion. It becomes an invitation to reclaim the power and presence of choice. When we honor the sanctity of our flesh and all it contains, we can remember the brilliance of our divine design.

This understanding is the foundation of my approach. Before we intervene, we pause. We listen. We move from the understanding that we are not a collection of separate parts. The body is an interconnected system, constantly communicating and adapting. We create the conditions for safety and connection, recognizing that they are the very foundation from which profound change emerges.

An Integrative Approach

My work is informed by extensive study across multiple bodywork disciplines, including craniosacral therapy, boneholding, fascial work, pelvic mapping, and scar tissue remediation. Rather than applying these modalities as separate techniques, I draw from them responsively—allowing careful assessment, presence, and relationship to guide the approach.

The Art of Listening

Intentional bodywork sessions invite you to experience coherence and expansion through hands-on touch, thoughtful inquiry, and reflection.

My role as a hands-on practitioner is to reflect what I am sensing with my hands. By getting quiet and slowing down, we make space for what is longing to be seen. The body's innate wisdom guides the process. We move slowly, peeling back the layers and unwinding the threads that bind them. We can only traverse unfamiliar terrain with curiosity after we’ve established a foundation of safety.

We pay attention to where things may be stagnant, resistant, and what feels most significant. This creates space for a fuller and more vibrant experience. Together, we’ll explore how the power of witnessing can create the conditions for shift.

Begin with a conversation

Every person's experience and relationship with their body is unique. Before working together, I invite you to connect with me through a discovery call. We can talk about what’s bringing you here, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether this work feels like the right fit.
